A Matter of Life is a documentary film about the life and work of David Servan-Schreibner, MD, PhD. The film begins, “Courage is not the absense of fear. It is realizing that there is something more important than fear. Hope.” Dr. Servan-Schreibner's incredible book Anticancer: A New Way of Life will help people affected by cancer around the world for many years. If you do not know about Dr. Servan-Schreibner, he transformed his professional work as a MD and PhD into cancer research and education after an aggressive brain cancer diagnosis that he then survived for almost twenty years. Dr. Servan-Schreibner continues now as an angel on Earth and the documentary in current production will be incredible. Watch this trailer as a cancer video. Bill Doyle talks about an innovative cancer treatment called Tumor Treating Fields (TTF). This video explains TTF, how it uses electric fields to interrupt cancer cell division, and shows cancer patients using TTF experiencing efficacy. That includes a man with a brain tumor and a woman with non-small cell lung cancer. The first Food and Drug Administration approval of TTF is for a recurrent glioblastoma multiforme (GBM) brain cancer. Other clinical trials now assess TTF. As cancer treatments continue to expand and even sometimes move beyond surgery, radiation, and chemotherapy, that might include cancer treatments like TTF. Watch this amazing cancer video.
