Creative Expression

The active expression of creativity supports health and healing through engaging movement in your body, mind, and spirit. Creative activities provide ways to enhance self-discovery, release, express and move emotions from despair to joy, transform life experiences into art, cultivate new perspectives, and much more. Creativity gives people focus, a stimulating environment to be present with themselves, and expression of what is inside to the outside world.

Allowing Creativity
Do you remember how you played and expressed yourself as a kid? What forms of creativity did you enjoy? You probably did not think of it as creativity when you were younger. Kids naturally play and express themselves. Those behaviors change as we grow up. Sometimes we lose our originality and authenticity. Creative expression can help people rediscover aspects of themselves that were set aside and maybe even buried for a period of time. It is never too late to rediscover yourself through creative expression.
